A lot has happened the last couple of months in our adoption journey. We had our final home study review which is where they come into the home for an interview and to check everything out. All of that passed and then we had a delay on approval due to some unforeseen hiccups. Those have been resolved, so now we are OFFICIALLY approved to become adoptive parents! We are still waiting for the home study docs to be written up and legalized but that should be done very soon.

We also went through Mother's Day and Father's Day which has been a little difficult in the past. However, this year was more about thinking of our little family growing and just hoping it will be sooner than later. We had so many show us love and and special attention as "expectant" parents. We really are surrounded by so much support and love and we are very grateful for that.

Another step in this process has been completed as well, our adoption profile book. We just got the copies in this week and they will be sent to the 3 offices that our agency has in central and north central Florida. This is the first impression that a birth mom will have of us. They will look at the profile book and decide if we look like who she would like to have parent her child so this book is very important. It took a little while to finish it and make sure that it shows who we are. We are very happy with how the book has turned out and have prayed over the copies going with our agency.
